ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Excerpt:

Dark clouds were starting to roll in and Elvin felt the change in the air foretelling of rain.  Putting the book away he started down the trail again.  If he was lucky he’d find a farmhouse or something close by; though he was willing to settle for a dry cave.

He started to walk by it before he realized he had found a cave.  The trees almost blocked the entrance from sight and he had seen it only from the corner of his eye.  The first, big raindrops began to plop on the ground around him.  Elvin peered into the cavernous mouth of the gaping hole but could make out very little.  As he entered the cave his ring grew brighter, seeming to act as a torch!
